Obesity: Interview with Hanna Blank and Ann Pai

Hanna Blank and Ann Pai have authored 2 different books each of which has obesity as a woven theme. Hanna Blank's book, Big Big Love is an intimate, sassy, irreverent guide for lovemaking among the obese. There seems to be a juvenile ridiculous stereotype in the American psyche that obese people are not desirable or are missing sexual desire within themselves. Ms. Blank destroys this urban myth.

Ann Pai's book, My Other Body is a memoir about; love, fat, life, and death. My Other Body follows Ann Pai and her sister, Joyce, through the intimacy of sisterhood, a fatal battle with morbid obesity and a brutal confrontation with compulsive eating. Hanna Blank is an author of several books and Ann Pai is a freelance writer and poet.
