"Animals in Translation - Using the Mysteries of Autism to Decode Animal Behavior": Interview with Temple Grandin

People with autism can often think the way animals think, which puts them in perfect position to translate "animal talk". In her book Grandin draws on her own experiences with autism as well as her career as an animal scientist to tell us how animals think, act, and feel. Animals in Translation will forever change the way we look at our fellow creatures.

Although diagnosed with autism since childhood, Temple Grandin holds a Ph.D. in animal science from the University of Illinois. She is the author of four books and is the creator of the "Hug Machine". Currently Grandin is an associate Professor at Colorado State University and she lectures widely on both animal science and autism.
