Internet Infidelity: Interview with Rona Sobotnik
Seventy-five million people worldwide are actively engaging in online sexual activity. These people revel in the freedom and undefined boundaries of finding relationships in a virtual world. A huge percentage of these participants are already involved in a committed relationship and it is this issue that is causing such a furor. Many questions arise and include; - Am I being unfaithful to my partner if I have an orgasm when talking to someone on line?
- Why can't my partner understand that I consider his on line dating to be cheating?
- How can I tell if someone on line is sincere?
- If I have a cyber romance with someone of the same sex, does that mean I'm gay?
Infidelity on the Internet looks at the questions raised by this new type of relationship and exposes the secrets of "Cyber Affairs".
Rona Subotnik, M.A. FMT is a licensed marriage and family counselor. She is co-author of Surviving Infidelity.
